Setting up a youth commission in order to increase their role in decision making process

IP3 team assisted the Municipality of Burrel to establish a Youth Center managed by a Youth Commission. The goal of this center is to provide services to the youth in order to empower them and increase their role in community policy and decision making process. The project was financed by Austrian Development Agency in Tirana. The main activities of the project involve:

1. Setting up the youth commission as an advisory structure to the Mayor and City Council;

2. Preparing operating guidelines for the town of Burrel youth commission;

3. The establishment of an internet center and library in one of the premises of Municipality of Burrel.
