Vermosh is one of the tourist attractions of the Albanian Alps, where the recent flux of visitors has increased and touristic services have been developed. This area is well-known for agricultural and livestock products cultivated by the area's farmers, where the most famous are Vermosh potato, Kelmend cheese, medicinal plants, teas, etc.
Institute of Public and Private Policies (IP3) is developing a project for the development of an Information Office and the Agrotourism Development Center in Vermosh in order to boost the number of tourists in Vermosh and to further develop the capacity of agricultural production and domestic livestock. For this reason, IP3 experts organized a visit to the Administrative Unit of Kelmend and Vermosh area. During the meetings were discussed about the problems faced by the Vermosh area, its strengths and tourism development strategies as well as the agrotourism development center.
